DecentAPI

A new platform that offers decentralized access to APIs via L2 Ethereum Oracles in a fast, anonymous and immutable manner, with On-Chain and Off-Chain storage on IPFS. Our services are offered on the Polygon Network with a future perspective for Arbitrum and Optimism.

Our oracles cover access for APIs from NFT pinning to Decentralized Finance.

About DecentAPI

DecentAPI is offering access to API via Ethereum L2 Blockchain Oracles, with result queries either on-chain or off-chain on IPFS.

If you are a developer building an application or Web3 application, you can use our smart contracts to request data from our oracles at minimum fees per request. You can also try them directly without having to code anything.

What is a Blockchain Oracle?

A blockchain oracle is a trusted entity that is part of a computer network, carrying information from the physical world to a smart contract. It creates the link between the physical world and a blockchain that smart contracts traverse, and allows those contracts to not be limited to information internal to the blockchain. This technology is currently used by decentralized applications (DApps) using smart contracts requiring access to external information.

The need for oracles arose following the introduction of blockchain technology and smart contracts. These offer decentralized and secure information transfers, but cannot access or request information outside their network. Applications requiring the transfer of data and therefore interested in using these technologies are limited and cannot access certain data.
